About ZENDO

Ellemieke Hin is the owner of ZuiverEndo and Zendo; she combines practice, education, and healthcare leadership with passion and precision.

Ellemieke graduated in 2005 as a dentist from the Academic Centre for Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA). During her studies, she developed a particular interest in endodontology and conducted research on ultrasonic irrigation methods.

After graduating, Ellemieke gained experience in various solo practices and group practices as a general dental practitioner. In 2009, she began the postgraduate program in endodontology at ACTA, which she successfully completed in 2012. During this postgraduate program, she researched the effects of instrumentation on dentin. Since 2012, she has been recognized as an endodontist by the Dutch Association for Endodontology (NVvE), an international member of the American Association of Endodontics (AAE), and a certified member of the European Society for Endodontics (ESE).

Ellemieke, in addition to her work as an endodontist, is also an involved oral healthcare leadership (KNMT) and a lecturer/researcher at the Academic Center for Dentistry (ACTA). She is also intensively involved in the development of, and co-author of, the Guidelines for Endodontic Diagnostics and Treatment.

Ellemieke is a former president of the Netherlands Society for Endodontology (NVvE) and has been involved in the founding of the Knowledge Institute for Oral Care (KIMO) in the Netherlands.
